Update My Password

Users who are having trouble logging in have a number of options to recover their password. First and foremost, we recommend using the Forgotten Your Password? feature located on the login page to access the password reset system. Before a reset code can be e-mailed to you, you will need to provide the following information:
- User name
- Your current registered e-mail address
Once entered, the system will e-mail you a new code which you can use to reset your password.

Password Reset Problems
Received Error "Account Not Found"
Fur Affinity verifies your username and e-mail address in order to generate a password reset code. At this time, the system requires that you enter your information EXACTLY as you entered it into the system. Please ensure that the your username is entered correctly. For example, if your username were your_username you would need to have the underscore in the name.
I Clicked Send Code, Never Received the E-mail
First and foremost: check your spam filter. Many e-mail providers such as Yahoo! and Hotmail automatically filter e-mails generated from Fur Affinity into the spam folder. If the e-mail doesn't show up in your inbox this the first place to look!
When All Else Fails
- Contact one of the admin staff to request that your password reset. When contacting an admin, please be sure to provide your user account and registered e-mail address. Admins can be messaged on [IRC Chat | Fur Affinity IRC Chat] or you can reach them on the FA forums.
- As a last resort, you can e-mail Dragoneer at dragoneer[at]thedragoneer.com to request a password reset. Be sure and replace [at] with @ before e-mailing.
